standards of school care:
· responsible for maintaining ｕｐｄａｔｅd standard policies & procedures pertaining to the nursing services of rm group.
· ensures that all nursing staff are familiar, and in compliance, with rm group standards for medical facilities.
· ensures nursing staff observe strict standard precautions of infection control within the school clinic setting. this includes applicable recommendations to supervisor of cleaning services.
· sets an example for nursing staff by maintaining a professional image, in both dress & behavior, at all times.


education:
· ensures an adequate orientation program for new nursing staff.
· identifies nursing staff training needs for skills development.
· responsible for preparing a training calendar for nursing staff planned six months in advance.
· ensures training, as planned, is completed and documented in line with rm standards.
· identifies potential nursing staff for medical transport roster including training.


customer service:
· maintains an overall awareness of patient movement/status in the clinic at all times ensuring adequate nurse cover & a high level of customer service.
· provides a mentoring role to nursing staff by fostering a team approach in the ｄｅｌivery of patient care.
· maintains an environment of patient respect & confidentiality within the clinic
· reports any matters of concern to the school president and clinic manager timely


clinic facility:
· maintains a current inventory of all equipment stock within the clinic.
· ensures that medical equipment is maintained in line with manufacturer guiｄｅｌines in all clinical areas.
· maintains documentation of an equipment maintenance programme to ensure that all medical equipment is in an optimal working condition.
· ensures clinic is adequately stocked in an orderly fashion.
· identifies unsafe & uｎｅｔhical practices within the clinic environment.


administrative:
· completion of a monthly nursing roster, in advance of one month, to ensure adequate nursing staff coverage of the clinic.
· maintains a record of patients seen by the nursing staff in the clinic.
· regularly audits the nursing staff’s documentation of patient assessment & nursing care in order to ensure adequate legal requirements.
· maintains an accurate record of nursing staff license renewal and immunization requirements.
· authorizes the time sheets for all nursing staff ensuring that any overtime is pre-authorized.
· compiles a month-end summary report to the school and clinic manager with reports of:
total patients number
incident reports and follow up
training planned & completed
equipment issues
· responsible to undertake yearly staff appraisals, identifying key performance index’s for the forthcoming year.
· holds a monthly nurses meeting to maintain a cohesive nursing team & ａｄｄress any nursing issues at hand. minutes of meeting to be documented & distributed.


required work experience
· minimum of 3-5 yrs practical nursing experience in 3a level hospital, or international school
· previous experience in a supervisory role.
· a sound nursing knowledge base in nursing acute illnesses
· international experience an advantage


required qualifications
· bachelor of nursing or comparable educational levels
· current nursing registration in the prc
· competent computer literacy


required languages both chinese and english
